Dr. Swathi Atluri

When it comes to finding a dentist near Viridian, you won’t find another local professional quite like Dr. Atluri. Earning her dental degree in India in 2005, she practiced in her home country before moving to the U.S. and attending the New York University College of Dentistry. Completing her DDS in 2011, she worked in the Carolinas for a decade before moving to Texas to be near her family.

With more than 12 years of experience, she remains an avid learner, regularly pursuing continuing education courses that allow her to hone her skills and expand her knowledge in root canal treatment, dental implant restoration, and Invisalign.

When it comes to being a dentist, she admits, “I feel so lucky to be in a career that brings me so much joy. I have always had a keen eye for detail when it comes to both sciences and the arts. Dentistry helps me combine this talent with my passion for helping others.”

Outside of work, she spends much of her free time with her husband of 17 years and their two boys, Aneesh and Ashwin. She enjoys painting, hiking, listening to live music, traveling to national parks, and camping. She’s also an avid traveler and foodie.
